Graphic Designer

JOB OVERVIEW

We're a twenty year old tech company and we are looking for a full time designer to help with our new and existing web and desktop applications.

You should have strong design skills and be well-versed in current Web design and application interface standards, including best practices for usability and accessibility. Both areas require a good eye for design and close attention to detail. You should be comfortable working multiple software design applications like Adobe Creative suite: from Photoshop and InDesign to Flash and Dreamweaver.

Responsibilities

-Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product visuals and experience
-Execute visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
-Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
-Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
-Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Requirements

-Proven design experience
-Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
-Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
-Proficiency in HTML, CSS, for rapid prototyping.
-Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
-Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
-Up-to-date with the latest design, UI trends, techniques, and technologies

Must be willing to stop all freelance projects.
