JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
We’re looking for a seasoned Email Marketing Specialist who can take ownership of our lifecycle marketing strategy - driving engagement, retention, and revenue across all customer touchpoints. You must be fluent in Klaviyo, with a strong understanding of eCommerce email flows, audience segmentation, and data-driven optimization.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives on building, testing, and scaling campaigns that convert. You’ll work closely with creative, product, and performance teams to ensure messaging aligns with customer intent at every stage.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage our email marketing strategy and execution end-to-end via Klaviyo.
- Build and optimize advanced flows: welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, and more.
- Develop and manage campaigns - from concept and copywriting to A/B testing and reporting.
- Segment audiences for personalized, high-converting communications.
- Monitor and improve KPIs: open rates, CTR, conversion, revenue per recipient, and deliverability.
- Collaborate with designers to create visually engaging templates that reflect brand tone and customer intent.
- Implement list growth tactics (on-site lead capture, pop-ups, embedded forms, etc.).
- Maintain best practices for email compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM), sender reputation, and hygiene.
- Analyze results and turn data into actionable strategies to increase LTV and repeat purchase rate.

What You’ll Bring
- 6+ years of hands-on email marketing experience in eCommerce, DTC, or CRM-heavy roles.
- Mastery of Klaviyo: flows, list segmentation, custom properties, predictive analytics, and campaign creation.
- Strong analytical mindset - comfortable interpreting performance reports and adjusting strategy accordingly.
- Excellent copywriting skills and a deep understanding of customer journey communication.
- Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar platforms.
- Experience running A/B and multivariate testing with a hypothesis-driven approach.
- Organized, self-managed, and capable of running multiple campaigns at once.
- Clear communicator who can work across departments and remote teams.

Nice to Have
- SMS marketing experience (Klaviyo SMS or similar platforms).
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email formatting.
- Experience with other tools in the retention stack (e.g. Postscript, Omnisend, Privy, Typeform).
- Experience with international or multi-brand email strategy
