Web Builder / Designer (Squarespace) – Part-Time, Long-Term, High-Trust Role

ABOUT ME:

I’ve been in the insurance business for 20+ years and have built several successful agencies. This isn’t a startup — it’s a strategic rebuild of my personal brand. I know exactly who I serve and what I’m building — I just need the right person to help me bring it to life online.

We’re starting with a clean, central website ( ---------- ), then expanding into niche landing pages for groups like restaurant owners, roofers, and Spanish-speaking clients. These sites will serve as resource hubs — not just marketing funnels — and help reduce friction for both prospects and long-term clients.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Build and manage a sharp, high-trust Squarespace website that feels professional and easy to navigate
Create niche-specific landing pages that speak directly to industries we serve (restaurants, roofers, etc.)
Use strong layout judgment — knowing when to use one CTA vs two, how to guide a visitor, and how to make pages feel clean and calm
Set up core integrations (Calendly, upload forms, quote widgets, etc.) without clutter or confusion
Work closely with me via short daily check-ins to move quickly and stay aligned

THE KIND OF PERSON WHO WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE:

You’re strong in Squarespace layout and page flow — not just dropping in templates
You understand the psychology behind a good page: when to nudge, when to leave space, how to make people feel safe
You can build fast without getting sloppy — and take feedback without ego
You ask smart questions and want to understand the purpose behind each section or button
You write and speak clearly, and are easy to talk to — especially in async chat

BONUS SKILLS (not required but valued):

Graphic design ability — tweaking visuals, balancing space, refining layout polish
Experience working with embedded tools (Zapier, form embeds, automation plugins, etc.)
Familiarity with AI tools or interest in experimenting with them in the future

HOURS + PAY:

Part-time to start: 10–20 hours/weekFlexible schedule — just need 1-hour overlap with US Mountain Time (MST) for daily check-insPay: $7–$10/hour USD depending on skill, speed, and ownershipPaid trial for finalists — your time is respectedLong-term opportunity if it’s a strong fit
