Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated n8n Automation Developer to design, implement, and maintain workflow automations using the n8n platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of low-code/no-code automation tools, APIs, and backend logic, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy automated workflows using the n8n platform to streamline internal processes and integrate
external services.
• Connect and manage APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines across platforms such as CRMs, ERPs, cloud storage,
messaging systems, and custom apps.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing workflows to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify automation opportunities, and deliver effective solutions.
• Document workflows, configurations, and best practices for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve automation issues or failures.
• Stay current with updates to the n8n platform, community packages, and automation best practices.
Requirements:
• Proven experience with self-hosted n8n deployments using Docker and managing underlying infrastructure.
• Understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, API keys, JWT).
• Background in process automation, systems integration, or DevOps.
• Experience with Node.js-based custom n8n node development.
• Proven experience developing with n8n or similar automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make,
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, webhooks, JSON, and basic scripting (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
• Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data transformation tools.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous job execution and queue management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and integrating cloud services into workflows.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Prior experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
