Role: Video Editor
We’re looking for a hands-on Video Editor to produce compelling, performance-driven content across paid ads, social channels, and our website. You’ll partner closely with creative, strategy, and growth teams to craft scroll-stopping videos that convert and reinforce our brand voice.
What You’ll Do
End-to-End Editing
Edit and polish both long-form and short-form assets: product demos, direct-response ads, UGC, VSL's , tutorials, and branded storytelling.
Manage version control, drafts, and final exports optimized for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and web.
Creative Collaboration
Work with scriptwriters and producers to align footage selection, pacing, and narrative flow.
Incorporate feedback from creative strategists and growth analysts to hit key metrics (ROAS, CTR, view-through rate).
Asset Library Management
Maintain an organized footage library—tag clips by product, hook type, emotional tone, and performance level for rapid reuse.
Identify gaps in raw assets and help plan shot lists for upcoming shoots.
Performance-Driven Iteration
Analyze video analytics to pinpoint high-impact edits, pacing tweaks, and opening hooks.
Deliver quick-turnaround variants and A/B tests based on real-time performance data.
Compliance & Quality Control
Ensure all edits meet platform ad policies (Meta, TikTok) and regulatory guidelines (FTC, FDA).
QC every video for brand consistency—color, typography, logo placement, and overall polish.
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of professional video editing experience in a fast-paced DTC or agency environment.
Expert-level Adobe Premiere Pro skills; solid After Effects proficiency (motion graphics a plus).
Strong storytelling instincts with an eye for pacing, rhythm, and visual hooks.
Comfort working with a mix of high-quality b-roll and raw UGC footage.
Data-minded: you understand how edits impact performance metrics and can iterate fast.
Familiarity with beauty/wellness compliance (FTC/FDA) or the ability to learn quickly.
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Collaborative spirit and clear communication with cross-functional teams.
