Social Media Virtual Assistant – The Sound Healers Academy

Are you a detail-oriented, heart-centered creative with a passion for wellness, sound healing, and intentional living? The Sound Healer’s Academy is seeking a mindful and organized Social Media Virtual Assistant (VA) to support our growing online presence, deepen community connection, and amplify our mission of healing through sound.

Role Overview:
As our Social Media VA, you'll play a key role in maintaining our digital presence and bringing our brand voice to life across all platforms. This is a collaborative, part-time role for someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, creatively driven, obsessed with social media, and aligned with our mission of healing through sound - even better if you are personally passionate about wellness, mindfulness, and helping change the world!
This role includes supporting our content calendar, managing posts and engagement across platforms, and helping us repurpose content in a way that feels beautiful, authentic, and aligned with our brand.
Responsibilities:
Create visually stunning graphics and visuals in Canva that align with our brand voice and aesthetic, posting to the feed 3–5x per week across all platforms
Edit and transform video content (recorded classes, soundbaths, behind-the-scenes footage) into high-impact, inspiring Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts
Draft, schedule, and publish daily content across Instagram (feed + stories), TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest,
Repurpose long-form content
Upload and organize media including Reels, audio clips, carousels, stories, and branded templates for future use
Maintain and update our content calendar in alignment with launches, events, lunar cycles, and seasonal energy
Engage with our community by responding to comments and DMs in our brand voice, and flagging any questions or customer service needs
Track performance metrics and assist with monthly reports on post performance, reach, engagement, and follower growth
Support launches and
Stay current on social media trends - especially in the wellness, spirituality, and sound healing space - and suggest creative ways to apply them
Ensure brand consistency and cohesion across all platforms and content formats
You Are:
Deeply aligned with our mission of mindfulness, healing, and feminine leadership
A clear and compassionate communicator with excellent grammar and attention to detail
Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated - you take initiative and follow through with grace
Confident using platforms like Instagram,
Immersed in the wellness and spiritual space, you understand the energy and can speak the language with authenticity
Grounded, adaptable, and able to flow with a feminine-led, intuitive work environment
Comfortable joining occasional Zoom check-ins and staying connected in a virtual team setting
Details:
Approx. 10 hours/week to start, with room to grow
Flexible schedule, but must be able to respond and post in real-time when needed (during launches, for example)
Hourly rate or monthly retainer, depending on experience
Excited to grow with us and stay on for the long-term (6–12 month contract after trial period)
