JOB OVERVIEW

We are building a global news channel committed to delivering factual, well-researched, bite-sized video content (initially under 3 minutes) that captures the essence of real journalism.

Global News Channel | Focus: U.S. News | Remote | Full Time | Fun + News

We’re looking for a fast, factual, and fiercely curious journalist to join us on this journey — someone who can break down complex U.S. and global stories into sharp, engaging scripts for the digital age. We need someone who doesn’t speak, someone who can crack a joke or two and lighten the air.

Your Responsibilities:
- Research and write 8-10 short news stories daily (300–500 words each).
- Use AI tools (if helpful) to speed up content creation — but never compromise on accuracy or journalistic integrity.
- Conduct in-depth research on current U.S.-centric news and global developments.
- Craft concise, impactful scripts for bite size videos (up to 3 minutes).
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and journalistic integrity in every piece.
- Stay on top of breaking news and emerging trends to pitch timely stories.
- Work with the content team to transform research into engaging visual stories.
- Willingness to lead the production process, ensuring your work is seen and heard exactly how it should be.

What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background in journalism, research, or editorial work.
- Proven ability to distill complex topics into digestible, engaging narratives.
- Familiarity with U.S. current affairs, politics, and socio-economic topics.
- Excellent written English; clear, sharp, and precise.
- Passion for truthful reporting and ethical journalism.
- Ability to work remotely, meet deadlines, and collaborate with global teams.

Payment & Job Structure:

- Paid per video/assignment.
- This is a regular, ongoing role (not one-off).
- 10% revenue stake in the channel for as long as we work together — grow with us. (Only for your work)
