Job Title: Signage Design & Engineering Specialist
Work Setup: Remote | Part-Time | Contract-to-Hire
Company: TFA Signs (Chicago-based, serving clients across the U.S.)
Schedule: 20–30 hours/week (flexible hours)
Contract: 3-month initial contract with potential 1-year extension

What You'll Be Doing
- Convert designer mockups into fabrication-ready drawing sets within 48 hours
- Create LED layouts and structural drawings for indoor/outdoor signs
- Collaborate with our Production Manager (daily) and Owner (weekly)
- Ensure drawings are clear—fabricators should rate your work 9/10 or higher
- Learn UL 48 and NEC 600 compliance basics (we’ll provide training)

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in signage or light-steel design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks or Fusion 360
- Experience with LED layout planning
- Excellent written and spoken English

Bonus Points If You Have
- Familiarity with UL 48, NEC 600, CE, or ETL standards
- Experience with basic structural calculations
