JOB OVERVIEW

Role:
As our Web Developer focused on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), A/B Testing, and UX, you’ll be the architect behind seamless, high-converting e-commerce experiences that turn visitors into loyal customers.
You won’t just build pages—you’ll shape the strategy and systems that make our store faster, clearer, and more persuasive. From crafting custom A/B tests to simplifying checkout flows, you’ll remove friction wherever it hides and deliver beautifully simple, high-impact user experiences that scale.
Your role isn’t just about code—it’s about knowing exactly what moves the needle in an e-commerce environment, and then delivering it with precision.
We’re looking for someone who’s as analytical as they are creative: who can read the data, see the opportunity, and make the changes that actually drive sales.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize e-commerce pages with a clear focus on increasing conversion rates.
Develop and manage A/B and multivariate tests from concept through analysis—ensuring each test generates actionable, revenue-driving insights.
Collaborate with marketing to identify high-leverage CRO opportunities across landing pages, PDPs, checkout, and more.
Analyze user behavior through tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and heatmaps to identify friction points and reduce drop-offs.
Create landing pages. Measure and improve Revenue per user, Conversion rate, and average order value.
Enhance the user experience with clean, intuitive design and smooth, mobile-friendly functionality.
Build lightweight, modular code that can be easily updated, tested, and scaled.
Optimize site speed, accessibility, and SEO fundamentals for maximum organic reach and retention.
Stay on the cutting edge of CRO, UX best practices, and e-commerce development trends—bringing fresh, validated ideas to the team.
Constantly find new landing pages to either rip and test, or take the sections you like most to test.
Requirements
Experience developing for e-commerce stores with a strong CRO and UX focus.
Demonstrated expertise in setting up, running, and analyzing A/B tests (e.g., Google Optimize, Optimizely, VWO).
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and how they impact conversion rates.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and experience with platforms like Shopify
Experience with analytics and session-recording tools to diagnose and improve user journeys.
Ability to balance speed and quality, prioritizing changes that drive measurable results.
Clear, candid communicator who can translate data into actionable recommendations.
Self-starter mentality with a constant drive to experiment, iterate, and improve.

Results
Delivered meaningful, validated improvements to our store’s conversion rates and average order values.
Reduced checkout abandonment through thoughtful UX and data-backed optimizations.
Launched and documented an ongoing A/B testing program with a clear pipeline of hypotheses.
Created an intuitive, mobile-friendly site experience that keeps customers engaged and returning.
Empowered marketing with fast, reliable updates and new landing pages that convert at scale.
Established best practices for CRO-focused development that support long-term growth.
Create beautiful and high-converting product pages, home pages, category pages and landing pages.

Location:
Remote-friendly.

Compensation:
$ 1,500 per month, with a performance bonus.

Our Core Values:
Obsess Over Results
We care about impact, not vanity metrics. We test, measure, and iterate until the store converts as well as it possibly can.
Radical Simplicity
We distil complexity into clear, frictionless user experiences that make buying feel effortless.
Candid Collaboration
We communicate honestly, give direct feedback, and expect the same. Clarity and alignment make us better, faster.
Continuous Improvement
We’re never satisfied with “good enough.” We test, learn, and grow every day.
