Expert-Level YouTube & Instagram Video Editor (Beauty/Skincare) — Remote, Part-Time

We're hiring a top-tier video editor who can transform raw footage into high-converting, aesthetically elevated content for a global skincare brand.

Role Overview
You’ll edit our long-form YouTube content and short-form Reels/Shorts with a polished, branded, scroll-stopping style.

4 YouTube videos/month (6–10 mins each)
12 Instagram Reels or TikToks/week (under 1 minute each)


What We Expect
For Reels/Shorts:

Use strong hooks in first 3 seconds
Add B-roll overlays of skincare routines, lifestyle, nature scenes, or lab footage
Insert sound effects + music (no copyright) synced to content mood
Add dynamic captions, motion graphics, zooms/pans, and fast cuts to hold attention
Optimize skin tone, color grade, and lighting to enhance natural glow without distortion

For YouTube (Long-Form):

Clean, elegant editing with pacing that keeps viewers engaged
Smooth transitions, occasional B-roll cutaways, visual emphasis on ingredients and results
Text callouts, branded title slides, end screens
Light audio mastering and background music

Must-Have Skills
Proven experience in beauty, wellness, or luxury brand editing (portfolio required)
Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / CapCut Pro expertise
Confident with color grading: make skin look radiant but real
Strong grasp of social-first storytelling (hooks, pacing, relatability)
Organized, fast, and open to feedback

Bonus Points
Thumbnail design for YouTube
Experience editing for skin of color or diverse beauty creators
Can handle light animation / branded motion elements
Familiar with AI tools to speed up your workflow (Descript, Runway, etc.)

Compensation
Monthly Retainer: $400 USD/month
Based on speed, quality, and test project. This includes:
12 Reels/Shorts per week
4 YouTube edits per month
