We are seeking a highly resourceful and analytical Cybersecurity Technology Consultant to assist in identifying new directions for the company in terms of product development. The Cybersecurity Technology Consultant is responsible for analyzing the current AI-powered Cybersecurity technology landscape, coming up with possible opportunities for hardware-based product development, analyzing the competitors, and initially performing non-infringement checks.
Key Responsibilities:
Research, organize and present the current technology landscape related to AI-powered cybersecurity
Analyze and identify market needs not being fully addressed by current technology solutions
Conduct competitor analysis for proposed product ideas/concepts
Generate the patent map related to the proposed product ideas/concepts, and recommend technology implementations that will respect patent rights of other companies/entities
Assist in generating feasibility studies and development plans
Educational Background/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering course, postgraduate degree (M.S. or PhD) preferred
Work experience of at least 5 years in Network Administration
Work experience of at least 3 years as a Security Researcher or Network Security Architect
Qualifications/Expertise:
Expert in the field of Cybersecurity
Familiar with AI technology and its applications in Cybersecurity
Able to discuss in detail the cybersecurity tools offered by different networking and security companies
Expert in networking, able to discuss the architecture of network components/equipment is preferred
Up to date on new vulnerabilities of and emerging threats to enterprise networks
Familiar with local and international patent systems (IPOPHL, WIPO, USPTO, EPO)
Skills/Core Competencies:
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken English
Good organizational and analytical skills
Holds oneself to a high-level standard of quality
Hands-on experience with MS Office or Google Suite
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
