JOB OVERVIEW

I am seeking an experienced architectural drafter or design assistant to help produce draft drawings for a ~2,000 sq ft, two-story modern farmhouse. You'll be working from a templated concept and reference sketches to develop professional, editable drawings using either AutoCAD or ---------- .

Project Scope:

Create draft floor plans, elevations, and basic layout views
Use an existing template in ---------- or a DWG from AutoCAD as a base
Final deliverables should include:
First and second floor plans
Roof outline
Front and side elevations
Room dimensions and wall types
PDF exports and source files (DWG or FloorPlanner)

Must-Have Skills:

Proficient in AutoCAD or FloorPlanner
Architectural or drafting background preferred
Attention to detail with ability to follow provided dimensions, references, and inspirations
Ability to communicate clearly and meet deadlines

Optional but Helpful:

Experience working with U.S. building standards
Sample portfolio of similar projects

Option 1: Fixed Project Rate
$100 – $250 USD for full draft set based on experience and speed
$100–150: Entry-level drafter using FloorPlanner or templated tools
$200–250: More experienced drafter using AutoCAD and providing layered files

Option 2: Hourly Rate

$5.50 USD/hour (typical for skilled VAs in the Philippines with drafting experience)
Estimated 20–30 hours of work total

Payments made at pre-determined and agreed upon milestones.
