We’re looking for a Video Editor & Content Creator with a love (or obsession) for cars, trucks, and off-road adrenaline. If you're fluent in Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, long-form content editing, and know your way around Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or DaVinci – we want YOU.
The Role:
This is a full-time remote position for a highly motivated, automotive-savvy video editor who is fluent in video production, storytelling, and cross-platform distribution. You will be working closely with our Canadian Brand & Marketing team to bring high-impact, visually engaging content to life.
We want someone who can manage, organize, edit, and create video content that aligns with our brand and current content strategy across:
Instagram
TikTok
YouTube
Facebook
Responsibilities:
Edit and deliver engaging short-form and long-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube (shorts and full videos), and
Collaborate with MBRP’s in-house marketing team to plan, storyboard, and execute video content for product launches, behind-the-scenes shop footage, event recaps, influencer content, and customer testimonials.
Repurpose and re-edit existing assets (b-roll, testimonials, footage from past shoots) into fresh formats for campaign use across multiple platforms.
Source and sync royalty-free or licensed audio, SFX, and music, matching the tone and energy of the brand and campaign goals.
Color grade and sound mix videos for a consistent and professional final product across platforms.
Organize footage and maintain file structure, naming conventions, and archive libraries in a clean, scalable system.
Stay on top of trends in editing styles, transition effects, hooks, automotive
Take creative ownership of editing projects, working independently while still aligning with the marketing manager's strategic direction and visual expectations, working within the brand guidelines
Track and document your workflows, revisions, and video performance feedback, optimizing future content based on engagement metrics.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in video editing and content creation, minimum
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar editing suites (must have own software)
Basic motion graphics, titling, and audio mixing capabilities to follow the existing styling of videos and launches.
Strong understanding of social media algorithms and platform nuances (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
Excellent communication skills (Fluent in English) and ability to take creative direction.
High attention to detail with excellent file naming and folder organization habits.
Fast, reliable internet and a quiet remote setup.
Bonus: Passion for or knowledge of the automotive, powersports, or off-road industry
? Nice to Have (but not required):
Graphic design skills (Photoshop/Illustrator)
Basic photography skills for thumbnails or social media images
Drone or 360 footage editing experience
