JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping Instagram and Facebook Reels for several restaurants. You'll be working with content from different food brands and will play a key role in building each brand's social media presence through engaging, on-trend, and high-converting short-form content.

Key Responsibilities:
-Edit raw footage into short-form videos (15-60 seconds) for Instagram Reel
-Add subtitles, transitions, music, and engaging effects to hook viewers
-Follow brand specific aesthetics, tone, and style guidelines
-Organize and manage content from multiple restaurant clients
-Optimize videos for social platforms (aspect ratio, text placement, etc.)
-Stay on top of trends in food content and social media editing styles
-Turn around edits quickly and consistently with high quality

Qualifications:
Proven experience editing short form video content for social media
Strong portfolio of Reels
Proficiency in video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual style
Ability to follow directions but also bring creativity to the table
Fluent in English and able to understand tone and context from audio
Must be organized and meet deadlines without needing micromanagement

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Preferred):
Experience editing food or restaurant content
Knowledge of Instagram/TikTok algorithm trends
Ability to repurpose longer videos into several short clips

Hours & Compensation:
Part-time, with the potential to grow
Flexible schedule, but fast turnaround time is expected
Pay is negotiable based on experience and speed
Long-term opportunity for the right editor
