Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Business Development Associate to support our growing short-term rental property management company. This role is responsible for identifying potential leads, initiating contact, and scheduling discovery or consultation calls for our sales team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple calendars and pipelines efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

Research and identify potential property owner leads using online platforms, databases, and other tools.
Qualify prospects through targeted questions and gather relevant information.
Maintain and update CRM systems with lead details and status.
Develop and execute outreach strategies via email, phone, and social media.
Call Scheduling:

Coordinate and schedule calls between potential clients and the Business Development Manager.
Manage and maintain the Business Development Manager calendar, ensuring accurate availability and appointment setting.
Send call confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups as needed.
Reschedule or adjust meetings as necessary while maintaining professionalism.
Customer Communication:

Act as the first point of contact for potential clients; respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Provide basic information about the company’s services to prospects before handing off to sales staff.
Ensure an excellent customer experience from the first interaction.
Reporting & Collaboration:

Track and report on lead generation activities, conversions, and call outcomes.
Collaborate with the marketing and the Business Development Manager to refine lead profiles and targeting strategies.
Contribute feedback on trends, common objections, or issues encountered during outreach.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 4+ years of experience in lead generation, appointment setting, or inside sales.
Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Asana.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks remotely.
Proficient in using property management software, task management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
Ability to work flexible hours to match U.S. time zones, weekends/holidays as needed.
Familiarity with Airbnb, Vrbo, ---------- , and other STR platforms.
Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to adapt to fast-changing market conditions.
Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating proactive and self-motivated behavior.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Availability to handle issues outside of regular working hours if needed.
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Vintory, and Salesforce) and scheduling tools (e.g., Calendly, Google Calendar).
Comfortable with cold calling, emailing, and engaging with leads.
Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking abilities.
Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to learn.
