EJF is a Real Estate Property Management company in District of Columbia. We are looking to hire an HR Assistant who is responsible, organized, detail oriented, and reliable to join our fun/hard working team. You must have excellent communication skills.

Experience Level: 2-4 years US and Global recruitment and administration.
Job purpose:
This role plays a pivotal role in supporting the recruitment and HR administrative functions across domestic and international operations. This role is essential in identifying and attracting top talents for property management and real estate roles while also ensuring smooth HR operations through effective coordination across departments.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Source and identify potential talents via online job boards, social media, and referrals.
- Conduct initial candidate resume and video recording screenings to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Schedule and coordinate initial interviews.
- Maintain and update detailed notes and status updates in candidate databases and tracking systems.
- Keep updated Manpower Recruitment Tracker of EJF and its affiliate entities.
- Assist with creating and posting jobs on multiple platforms to attract diverse candidates.
- Conduct reference checks and verify candidates' credentials.
- Work closely with Recruitment Specialist to distribute employment contracts.
- Ensure ATS and HRIS are accurate and up to date with applicant information.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment progress for the HR Director.
- Send weekly recruiting updates to hiring managers on status of recruitment efforts.
- Foster a positive candidate experience through clear and consistent communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring process.
- Work closely with HR team to understand current and future hiring needs.
- Assist HR team with various administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the real estate industry, for at least 2 years.
- Proven experience in HR administration positions.
- Strong understanding of real estate industry practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS software.
- Ability to effectively utilize social media and online job boards for recruitment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to conduct thorough candidate assessments and interview evaluations.
- Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and data to optimize strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and industry professionals.
- Strong attention to details.
Working conditions:
- Full remote work (work anywhere).?
- Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) including the 30 minutes unpaid meal break.??
- Acceptance of using time-tracking device (Hubstaff) installed on your computer while rendering service with EJF Real Estate Services.?
Work requirements:
- Must have a personal computer/laptop that will be exclusively used while rendering service to EJF Real Estate Services.?
- Must have a back device (back up computer, back up internet, back up electricity) in case of service utility disruption.?
- Must have a conducive working area away from noise and any disturbances that will affect your service with EJF Real Estate Services.
