Team Captain (Care Coordinate VA)

We are a healthcare industry looking for a Team Captain for our Care Coordinate Team!

Key responsibilities:
- Conduct spot checks on active and submitted referrals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Assist tea ---------- mbers in resolving complex or delayed referral cases and expedite processes when necessary.
- Train new hires on the referral workflow, including Prior Authorization (PA) procedures and documentation.
- Provide support on navigating insurance requirements, provider communications, and payer protocols.
- Serve as the escalation point for all referral-related issues or challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date referral guidelines, procedures, and documentation.
- Monitor referral performance metrics and suggest workflow improvements.
- Collaborate with tea ---------- mbers and external partners to ensure smooth referral processing.

Qualifications:
- With remote work experience
- Strong knowledge of referral processes, including insurance authorization and provider coordination.
- Critical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Clear and concise communication and training skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems, insurance networks, and authorization procedures.
- Tech-savvy and proficient in using online tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, etc.)
- Willing to work during Pacific Standard Time (PST)
- Has an iOS device (Mac, iPad, or iPhone)
