Podcast Clips Video Editor (Instagram Reels / TikTok)

We're looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team and help us turn podcast episodes into high-performing short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

This is a remote position with flexible hours, open to both part-time and full-time applicants.

Responsibilities:

Edit and produce 5–7 short clips per week from our podcast episodes (audio/video provided).

Identify compelling ---------- nts from each episode and transform them into visually engaging, fast-paced, and captioned social media clips.

Add dynamic captions, B-roll, sound effects, jump cuts, zooms, and other edits to hold viewer attention.

Maintain consistent brand style and tone across all content.

Collaborate with our team to understand which clips are resonating and continuously improve based on feedback and performance.

Compensation:

Paid per clip, with opportunities for commission/bonuses based on clip performance.

Requirements:

Experience editing short-form content for podcasts or talking-head style videos.

Strong grasp of pacing, hook building, and retention tactics for social platforms.

Proficiency with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro.

Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines.

Access to fast internet and a computer capable of handling video edits.

A portfolio or samples of past short-form podcast or interview-based video work.
