Short-Form Video Editor for Aesthetic Travel & Lifestyle Content

Hi! I’m looking for a creative video editor to join me long-term.

I create travel, beach, lifestyle, and slow-living content — think ocean walks, cute cafes, beautiful Airbnbs, and family-friendly vibes (I usually have my toddler with me too). I’ll be sending you lots of aesthetic footage, and I need someone who can turn it into short, scroll-stopping videos that businesses can use on their socials.

What you’ll be editing:

1. Short videos for Reels, TikTok, and tourism promos (15-60 seconds)
2. Relaxed, feel-good, cinematic vibe (but still natural, not overly produced)
3. I’ll provide the raw footage (shot on iPhone) — you turn it into magic

I'm looking for someone who:

1. Has experience editing short-form vertical content and knows how to cut clips to keep attention + understands pacing for short attention spans.
2. Knows how to pick royalty-free music or audio
3. Can sync clips to music beat, vibe and clean cuts to create smooth transitions, cinematic but still casual feel edits
4. Understands basic colour grading to balance and enhance lighting to make footage look professional/ pop softly without looking fake or overly saturated.
5. Fast turn around
6. Communicates well and is reliable
7. Has an eye for aesthetic content — you get the feel of travel, beaches, lifestyle
8. Must have an eye for smooth pacing, aesthetic vibes
9. Understands attention-grabbing/"hook" based editing. No boring intros.
10. Can add clean on-screen text if needed. Minimal but elegant
