Experienced Xero Bookkeeper (AU Standards) – Remote / Philippines Based

About Us:
We are a growing Australian bookkeeping firm providing high-quality bookkeeping, compliance, and business advisory services for small to medium enterprises. We are seeking a skilled bookkeeper to join our remote team and support our expanding client base, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and client service.

What You Will Do:
• Maintain accurate books using Xero (including bank reconciliations, journal entries, coding, and matching)
• Prepare and review BAS and IAS (must understand GST treatment and Australian tax codes)
• Manage payroll (including STP reporting, superannuation, and leave tracking)
• Communicate with the principal (based in Australia) on task status and deadlines
• Assist in preparing reports, budgets, and financial summaries
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting and ATO regulations

Skills & Experience Required:
• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience with Australian clients
• Expert-level Xero skills, including Xero Payroll and Xero Projects (preferred)
• Solid understanding of GST, BAS, PAYG, and STP compliance
• Experience working with Australian BAS agents or accounting firms
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Xero & Xero Practice Manager
• Microsoft 365
• Teams (for communication)

Working Hours:
• Preferably overlap 3–5 hours with Australian business hours (AEDT / AEST)
• Flexible part-time (we are happy to discuss)
