Podcast editor and social media manager ($4–9/hr, long-term)

I am looking for a creative, reliable, and detail-oriented podcast editor and social media manager to support two projects:

1. You Rice Me Up

A podcast about Asian Europeans from all walks of life. I currently release one episode per month. Previous episodes can be found here: ---------- .

Your responsibilities:

- Edit raw podcast audio for clarity, flow, pacing, and sound quality
- Raw episode is usually around 90min
- Deliverable is around 30-40min
- Create 1 audiogram and 2–3 quote cards/carousels per episode for Instagram
- For audiogram examples ---------- on Instagram
- Repurpose past podcast episodes into 2-3 quote cards/carousels per episode
- Potential future tasks:
- Video editing for podcast video & snippets (optional)
- Help with scouting and researching relevant guests
- I am currently using Descript and can add you to the project, but am open to other tools

1. Chumi Studio

A playful and pun-loving gifting and lifestyle brand focused on making people and their loved ones smile. I just started this venture and need help with Instagram content ---------- posts mostly focused on my illustration process, but I want to create more engaging content (e.g. founder story, behind-the-scenes, etc.) via video.

Your responsibilities:

- Research social media trends in the gifting, stationery, lifestyle niche
- Create short reels from raw material I provide
- I will provide creative briefs and reference examples where possible
- Apply feedback and meet soft monthly deadlines

If things go well, I’d love for this to become a long-term collaboration with the potential for more responsibility and increased pay over time.

Hiring process:

1. Shortlist & interview with 5-10 selected candidates
2. Paid one-day test
Deliverables:
- Audio: Edit a 10-15min raw podcast clip into a clean, well-paced cut (add intro/outro music if relevant)
- Video: Edit a short Reel (15–30 seconds) from 3-4 raw clips + reference
- Social: Create 1 quote card or carousel based on the audio
