Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, U.S. hours preferred)

About Us:
Better Future Finance is a growing U.S.-based financial services company helping clients reduce debt and rebuild financial stability. We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented accountant to join our team remotely and support our day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Prepare monthly financial statements and reports

Track client payments and flag missed or late transactions

Maintain clean, organized records in QuickBooks or Xero

Assist in budget planning and cash flow management

Coordinate with management for payroll and tax prep

Support internal audits and reporting

Requirements:
At least 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar software

Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills

Experience integrating webhooks into Excel (e.g., using Zapier, Power Automate, or other no-code tools)

Excellent English communication (written & verbal)

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Internet connection of at least 10 Mbps

Preferred but Not Required:
Experience with U.S.-based clients or accounting standards

Familiarity with debt relief or financial services

CPA or accounting certification is a plus
