We are offering an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with a solid background in the Australian bookkeeping environment and proficiency in QuickBooks Online. A. THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-driven, client-focused bookkeeper who enjoys making a real difference to small businesses. You will be working in a structured, process-oriented environment, where accuracy, productivity and client service are key.

# Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday (8:00 am – 5:30 pm AEST, GMT +10) — 36 hours per week
# Optional: After 3 months, you may choose to work Fridays for extra income

THE ROLE IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF YOU:

* Hold formal training in Accounting or Bookkeeping
* Understand Australian GST legislation and nuances
* Love to deliver high-quality work, on time
* Have a strong grasp of accounting principles and general ledger
* Communicate clearly in excellent written and spoken English
* Embrace productivity tools and cloud-based technology (especially QuickBooks Online)
* Are proactive, solution-focused, and love following procedures
* Are organised, self-directed, and an efficient time manager
* Have a strong sense of professional confidentiality and responsibility
* Can work well under pressure and in a remote team setting
* Are complimented on your attention to detail and reliability

B.1 CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll work as part of a small, collaborative team, and will be responsible for:
• Bookkeeping and transaction processing for small business clients
• Accurate general ledger and GST allocations
• Bank reconciliation and review of outstanding transactions
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
• Preparation of year-end workpapers for our accountants

Required Skills & Attributes:

• A genuine passion for accounting and numbers
• Strong understanding of debits and credits (this will be tested)
• Ability to follow procedures and grasp the "why" behind tasks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Tech-savviness — advanced computer skills will be tested

B.2 EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

To be considered, you must have:

## A reliable computer (i5 processor or higher) with minimum 8GB RAM
## At least 2 screens — ideally a laptop + extra screen or a dual-monitor setup
## A stable internet connection and a reliable backup
## A dedicated home workspace with ergonomic chair and proper desk
## A dedicated noise-cancelling headset (not shared)
## A camera for meetings
## A full keyboard with number pad and mouse

B.3 CHILDCARE ARRANGEMENTS
For applicants with children under 8 years old, a dedicated adult carer must be present during working hours.

D. WORK SCHEDULE, HOLIDAYS & BENEFITS
## Monday–Thursday: 36 hours per week
## Pro-rata Annual Leave (7%) and Personal Leave (3.5%)
## 2-week Christmas Shutdown
## Extra leave at Easter (Thursday off)
## Paid for all gazetted Brisbane (Australia) Public Holidays
## Paid every second week in PHP directly to your bank account
## 13th Month Pay (pro-rata after 6 months)

Pay is commensurate with experience and reviewed regularly.
