Video & Photo Editing Assistant

Video & Photo Editing Assistant Wanted – IG Reels, YouTube Shorts, Podcast Editing (Part-Time, Potential Full-Time)

We’re looking for a skilled, creative, and detail-oriented video editor with photo editing experience to join our remote team. This is a part ---------- position to start, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.

Your Role Will Include:

Editing short-form content for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
Editing multi-cam podcast videos (syncing audio, switching angles, adding captions/transitions)
Editing and retouching photos for social media and branding purpose
Working with S-Log footage, performing basic color correction and grading
Managing content delivery and organization through Google Drive
Delivering platform-optimized exports (vertical, square, widescreen)
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
Has a strong sense of creative tone and storytelling — from fast-paced, high-energy edits to clean, professional corporate-style videos
Can make smart creative decisions independently based on the project vibe and audience
Understands how to edit for social media platforms, with a focus on audience retention and attention span
Knows where to make precise cuts that enhance viewer engagement
Can follow editing notes while also contributing ideas and enhancements
Has the ability to identify mistakes in the raw footage (e.g., focus issues, camera bumps, bad takes) and know how to fix or remove them effectively
Has experience with short-form video editing and creating content that captures attention quickly
Is skilled at editing multi-camera podcast episodes
Can do basic to intermediate color grading, especially for S-Log footage
Has photo editing experience (Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar)
Is familiar with DaVinci Resolve (preferred), or other pro-level tools like Adobe Premiere
Communicates well, meets deadlines, and is open to feedback
