Position: Video Editor for Facebook & Direct Response Ads (VSLs)
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time
Schedule: 8 hours/day, from Monday to Friday

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a crucial performance-based editing role where you’ll be creating high-converting short-form and long-form video ads for Meta, AppLovin and other Direct Response sales channels. We are looking for a truly dynamic individual, who can help us scale our brand to the next level. Down the line, we’re looking for someone who can own their responsibilities and get promoted in the future to the role of Director of Video Editing Departament.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Edit short-form direct-response video ads (15-60 sec) as well as medium to long-form direct-response VSL ads (3-5+ minutes)
Understand how important is to choose the RIGHT b-rolls, in order to ‘manipulate’ the viewer to watch the video and help him/her understand easier what we’re trying to communicate through the script;
Ensure all videos meet high-quality standards and are delivered on time.
Cut, arrange, and edit raw footage into engaging, high-converting ads and VSLs;
Select the best hooks, transitions, and pacing to capture attention within the first 3 seconds;
Add burned-in subtitles, motion graphics, and overlays to maximise engagement.
Stay up to date with top-performing ad trends to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and high-performing.
Communicate with other editors, in order to help each other achieve the best results;



REQUIREMENTS
At least 2 years of experience as a Direct Response Video Editor, proficiency in video editing software (for example, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects or Final Cut Pro) and tools are required (a portfolio showcasing previous work is a must)


Excellent command of English


Understanding key editing elements like pacing, visual flow, subtitles, and retention strategies


Creative & Disciplined mindset, willing to constantly optimize your Direct Response knowledge, striving to create the best ads in the world


Strong attention to detail and a passion for storytelling


Understanding the market you’re selling to - how do those people look, what do they want, what are their desired outcomes etc.


Ability to work FAST and meet deadlines, without compromising quality


Attention to detail with branding, grammar, and formatting


Excellent communication and ability to work in async, remote teams


Strong project management, version control, and file organization


Open to feedback, fast revisions, and performance-based creative improvements
