Personal Assistant & Credential Specialized/Recruiter
A Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for identifying and attracting qualified candidates to fill open positions within an organization, managing the hiring process from initial contact to onboarding, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. This role involves sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and possibly conducting interviews.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sourcing and Screening:
Identifying potential candidates through various channels like online job boards, social media, and professional networks. Reviewing resumes and applications to screen for qualified candidates.
• Candidate Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
• Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
Working closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and requirements for each open position.
• Managing the Hiring Process:
Coordinating the hiring process, managing paperwork, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Staying Updated:
Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices in recruitment, and relevant legislation.
• Utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS):
Using ATS to manage the recruiting process, track candidates, and generate reports.
• Reporting and Analysis:
Analyzing data on hiring metrics to inform recruiting strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with candidates and senior managers.
• Organizational and Time Management Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Proficiency in Recruiting Tools: Experience with ATS, social media platforms, electronic phone systems and other recruitment tools.
• Understanding of Employment Law and Regulations: Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field: Business administration, Human Resources, or a related field is typically preferred.
• Medical Terminology: Experience with healthcare staffing and knowledge of healthcare jargon/terminology
• Computer Knowledge: Experience with converting, compressing and managing electronic files. Must have experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva, Teams and other similar databases.
Personal Assistant duties:
• Time and Schedule Management: Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Communication: Responding to
• Process Improvements: creating process documents and organizing them into an electronic database. Continuing to improve hiring processes and office flow.
• Clerical and Secretarial Duties: Typing, formatting, and editing documents. Creating documents as needed.
• Organization and Efficiency: Ensuring the manager's office is well-organized and that all necessary supplies are available if applicable.
• Credential Verification. Credentialing specialists review and authenticate credentials, qualifications, licenses, certifications, and other relevant documents submitted by individuals or organizations. This ensures that the provided information is accurate and meets the required standards.
• Compliance Assessment. They ensure individuals or organizations comply with all legal and regulatory requirements. This may involve checking if licenses are valid, certifications are up-to-date, and professionals meet the necessary educational or training standards.
• Background Screening. Credentialing specialists conduct background checks on individuals to identify any criminal records, disciplinary actions, or other negative factors that may affect their eligibility or reputation. This step helps to ensure public safety and protect the interests of the organization.
