Bot Framework SDK Developer (Python) – Microsoft Teams Bot Infrastructure (Full-Time)

Description
We’re looking for an experienced Python developer to build a shared Bot Framework SDK codebase that powers two Microsoft Teams bot MVPs. Each project will instantiate only the modules it needs, while leveraging a common, maintainable core.

Project 1
• IT Self-Service Bot on Teams that answers frontline tech questions (POS, network, hardware) in Arabic and English
• Ingests SOPs and troubleshooting guides from SharePoint for Q&A
• Escalates unresolved issues to the IT ticketing queue
• Logs interactions for analytics and reporting

Project 2

HR Chatbot in Teams for policy FAQs (vacation balance, leave rules)

Oracle ERP integration for live balance retrieval and leave-request submission (following approval workflows)

Escalation and notification routing to HR staff, with context and hand-off logging

What You’ll Build

A Python-based Bot Framework SDK project with dialog management, state storage, and middleware (authentication, RBAC, telemetry)

Connectors for SharePoint Q&A and Oracle ERP REST APIs

Notification/ticketing adapters for routing escalations

Teams channel adapter and CI/CD pipelines, plus clear documentation

Requirements

2+ years building bots with Microsoft Bot Framework SDK in Python

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Graph, Azure AD auth, and Teams bot registration

Familiarity with QnA Maker or custom embeddings over SharePoint documents

REST API integration experience (Oracle or similar ERP)

Solid understanding of role-based access control and telemetry (App Insights or Dataverse)
