Job Overview

The Store Expansion Consultant is responsible for providing analysis of a company and its existing practices, and then makes recommendations necessary for improvements for the purpose of expanding our store. He/she will conduct research on the requirements and goals of our organization, from different points of view, then incorporate the results into marketing and sales strategies. Working at this position means that you have to have an analytic mind, along with deep knowledge of marketing, sales, promotions, advertising and operations.

The goal is to help our business be more functional and successful.

I. Store Expansion Consultant’s primary responsibility and goals

The primary work of the Store Expansion Consultant is to provide consultation to the CEO which includes (but are not limited to):

• Design and develop strategies on retail store expansions
• Develop sales strategies including store features that will improve the business bottom-line
• Provide expert advice to President/ CEO
• Implement comprehensive needs assessment mechanism to help recognize demand for plans and services.
• Execute problem-solving skills to determine solutions for critical situations

II. Task and responsibilities

• Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
• Develop store features administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc.
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc.)
• Travel to Vietnam store branch on a regular basis to conduct meetings
• Other duties may be added from time to time

III. Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in implementing effective and efficient improvements to operations
• Thorough knowledge in the field of retail expansion operations
• Knowledge of data analysis and research techniques
• Knowledge of business software is an advantage
• Ability to develop detailed proposals and plans
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills
• Analytical and innovative
• A minimum of 10 years of business management or consultancy on store expansion
• A great listener with ability to communicate with people of diverse disciplines
• BSc/BA/MA in business or relevant discipline
• Certification in consulting or field of expertise is an advantage
