???? About Teaching Tiny Botanists
Teaching Tiny Botanists is a nature-based children’s education brand based in Phoenix, Arizona. We lead garden and food education programs for children and families — helping them connect to soil, seeds, food, and each other through play, science, and storytelling. We host classes, workshops, field trips, and pop-up events in gardens, libraries, and public parks.

We’re growing fast — and need someone deeply creative, reliable, and aligned with our mission to help build our presence online and engage our vibrant community!

???? Your Role
As our Content Creation & Marketing Assistant, your job is to increase visibility, build brand trust, and convert followers into class participants and supporters. You’ll do this by helping plan, design, and post content that inspires, educates, and connects.

???? Social Media Content Creation
Design beautiful, on-brand posts and reels using Canva (we provide templates and assets)

Write compelling, warm, and educational captions for Instagram and Facebook

Create engaging Pinterest pins (for blog posts, workshops, kids’ activities, etc.)

---------- Instagram content for Facebook and ----------

Schedule content in advance using a content planner (e.g., Notion, Trello, or Later)

???? Email Marketing
Write and design 1–2 email newsletters per month via MailerLite (or ConvertKit)

Help grow and clean our email list

Highlight upcoming events, workshops, and free downloads

Occasionally create freebie PDFs or downloads for subscribers (using Canva)

???? Content Planning & Strategy
Research fun and seasonal content ideas for parents and educators (based on nature, garden, food, and science themes)

Suggest relevant holidays, awareness days, and seasonal campaigns to tie into our work (like Pollinator Week, Seed Swap Day, Earth Day)

Track growth metrics (followers, email opens, engagement) monthly
