Odoo ERP Consultant

Job Overview

We are looking for a knowledgeable Odoo Consultant to help our IT team to develop, use and integrate OpenERP systems in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems. They work to improve the structure and efficiency of OpenERP systems.Odoo Consultant will provide strategic guidance to IT Manager with regards to OpenERP technology, infrastructures and enabling major business processes through enhancements of the system.

I. Odoo ERP Consultant’s primary responsibility and goals
The primary work of Odoo Consultant is to provide consultation to the IT Manager which includes (but are not limited to):
• Review current design of Odoo apps(modules, customization) and provide best possible solutions
• Conduct technical training(python/odoo(OpenERP))
• Develop application/features that affect everyday lives
• Consult on Odoo framework of existing apps.
• Add a distinctive trait to any product.
• Travel to Vietnam office and work with ERP team
• Regularly report to the manager.

II. Task and responsibilities
• Provide consultation on management of Odoo initiatives and collaborate with in-house technical staff
• Support new technology implementation in Open ERP powered by Odoo
• Design and develop new Odoo apps
• Train end-users in new and existing Odoo systems
• Provide assistance with technical issues
• Revise existing systems and suggest improvements
• Produce reports necessary for improvements

III. Qualifications & Requirements
• 3-5 years’ hands-on experience in Odoo development preferred
• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other relevant field
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Have project management skills and experience in software development most specifically with Odoo ERP.
• Good presentation skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal/written communication
• Strong analytical skills
• Consulting experience preferably required
