Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Controller

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or experienced Controller to lead financial strategy, maintain fiscal discipline, and support growth across multiple entities and product lines.

Job Summary
The CFO/Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, including full-cycle accounting, financial modeling, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for a hands-on, strategic leader who understands the financial complexities of the manufacturing and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities
*Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability.
*Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and modeling across multiple entities.
*Oversee full-cycle accounting, including month-end/year-end close and consolidated reporting.
*Manage cash flow, working capital, and inventory costing systems.
*Ensure compliance with GAAP and federal, state, and international financial regulations.
*Handle banking relationships, debt management, investor communications, and capital raising.
*Direct audits, tax planning, risk mitigation, and internal controls.
*Collaborate with the executive team on strategic planning, M&A, and long-term financial initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
*CPA (Certified Public Accountant) – Required
*Minimum 7–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience
*Proven leadership in a CFO, Controller, or VP of Finance role
*Extensive experience with:
*Full-cycle accounting
*Financial modeling and forecasting
*Budget development and variance analysis
*Inventory management and costing systems
*Multi-entity accounting structures
*GAAP compliance
*Strong background in banking relationships, capital structure, and fundraising
*Familiarity with manufacturing and shipping/logistics operations
*Excellent skills in financial reporting, risk management, and strategic planning
*Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
*Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
*MBA or CFA is a plus but not required
