Job Summary
We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to join our growing data team. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge backend data work with user-facing insights—creating the building blocks in Snowflake and bringing data to life through intuitive, impactful reporting.
You’ll be responsible for translating complex datasets into actionable insights and building reporting layers that help drive decisions for both our internal teams and our clients. A key part of the role is collaborating closely with frontend developers or reporting teams to deliver clean, insightful reporting experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse and interpret large, complex datasets to extract meaningful business insights.
Build optimised and reusable SQL views in Snowflake, tailored for client reporting needs.
Collaborate with frontend/reporting developers and teams to integrate Snowflake data into visual dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and transform them into clear, accurate data deliverables.
Maintain a focus on performance, scalability, and data accuracy across all reports and queries.
Document the data structure, reports, and processes for internal use and client transparency.
Requirements
Demonstrable experience with Snowflake, including:
Building and managing SQL views
Using dynamic tables
Managing access controls and roles
Monitoring and optimising warehouse performance
Proficiency in building data dashboards or visual reports in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker (non-negotiable).
Strong data modelling and analytical skills.
Ability to design data views that serve clear business needs and reporting outcomes.
Collaborative approach to working with engineers and product/reporting teams.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
Understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and best practices in data handling.
Nice to Have
Experience working with embeddable BI platforms like Metabase, Explo, or building internal dashboards using React or other frameworks.
Familiarity with cloud-based data pipelines and ETL workflows.
A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
