ABOUT ROOTED:

We’re building Rooted — a groundbreaking Christian platform designed to serve both individual believers and local churches with tools for discipleship, journaling, giving, Bible study, and more. It’s a mission-first product backed by a long-term nonprofit vision and a bold goal: to be the most trusted platform for faith and growth in the world.

Now we need a hands-on, talented developer-designer to help us bring it to life.

YOUR ROLE:

You’ll be our first technical hire and play a foundational role in building the MVP. You’ll:

? Collaborate with our founder to translate ideas into clean Figma designs
? Build a working version of the actual platform (MVP – not just mockups)
? Design clean UI and intuitive user experiences
? Build a basic admin dashboard for churches and a mobile-first experience for individuals
? Assist with deploying a live prototype for investors, donors, and early users

?

TECH WE PREFER (but are open):
• Front-End: React / Next.js / Tailwind
• Back-End: Firebase, Supabase, or Node.js
• Design: Figma
• Deployment: Vercel or Netlify

We’re flexible — if you can build it clean and fast, you’ll have some freedom in tech stack decisions.

REQUIREMENTS:

?? Strong in both front-end and back-end development
?? Skilled with Figma and modern design best practices
?? Able to work independently and take initiative
?? Fast, efficient, and detail-oriented
?? Excellent written and spoken English
?? Must be available 40 hours/week
?? Faith alignment is a huge plus (we’re building for believers)

COMPENSATION:

???? $600 – $950 USD/month (depending on skills + experience)
