Position Summary:
The Dental Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for the full-cycle credentialing and re-credentialing of all dental providers for all 8 office locations. This includes enrolling and un-enrolling providers and practices with insurance companies and ensuring that all credentialing requirements are up to date and compliant with payer and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the credentialing and re-credentialing process for all providers across 8 dental office locations.
Complete provider and facility enrollments and disenrollments with all applicable insurance carriers (commercial and government payers).
Track credentialing timelines, expirations, and deadlines to ensure continued participation in networks.
Maintain accurate provider and facility records in credentialing databases and tracking systems.
Communicate with providers, office managers, insurance companies, and internal teams to gather and submit required documentation.
Resolve any issues related to enrollment, claim rejections, or participation status with insurance carriers.
Stay current with insurance carrier requirements, credentialing guidelines, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Required: Minimum 2 years of dental office experience, with strong understanding of dental insurance and provider credentialing.
Experience working with multiple dental payors
Familiarity with CAQH, NPPES, and other credentialing databases/tools.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in Gsuite, Google Sheets and credentialing software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Expert level English communication skills
Outbound calls with insurance companies and with teams in the offices
Work PST 8:00am- 5:00pm Mon-Fri
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across multiple locations.
