Cypher Culture is a street dance community non-profit organisation. We work to empower street dance communities to thrive, and to improve diverse representation in the arts.

Cypher Culture delivers services such as;
* street dance productions
* workshops teaching street dance culture and history
* sponsorship of community-led dance productions
* sector development roundtables
* advocacy for street dance communities

Cypher Culture started as a community collective a decade ago and established itself as a non-profit organisation in 2022. We have become a critical organisation supporting approximately 15 grassroots street dance collectives and 400 street dancers in Naarm/Melbourne.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to establish our social media platforms, deliver consistent content, and enhance audience engagement.

ABOUT YOU

Experience with street dance culture and communities is highly regarded
Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or equivalent transferable experience
Proficient Canva skills, and in-app video editing skills desirable.
Proficiency working within Branding guidelines
Ability to plan, prioritise and organise work in a busy environment
Highly proficient written communication skills including copywriting, proofing and editing
Excellent attention to detail

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok
Develop and schedule social media content
Develop reports on data and insights from our social media platforms.
Monitor the social media accounts and offer constructive engagement with users.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to amplify marketing impact
Plan, implement and optimise paid social media campaigns
Ideate and develop content ideas to engage audiences
