JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Billing Support Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you’ll be responsible for following up overdue invoices, assisting clients with billing-related concerns, and ensuring smooth communication across email, phone, and SMS. You’ll also help manage service suspensions and reactivations.

The current workload is small and focused, but as we grow, this role has the potential to transition into a full-time position. At this stage, there is no requirement for bookkeeping or BAS preparation, though these responsibilities may be introduced in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on overdue invoices via phone, email, and SMS
- Negotiate payment arrangements with clients in line with internal SOPs
- Escalate billing-related client issues where necessary to facilitate resolution
- Assist with suspending, unsuspending, and reactivating client services
- Maintain accurate records of communication and payment statuses
- Ensure a professional and supportive approach to all client interactions

Requirements:
- Previous experience in billing, accounts, or customer support (preferred)
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow established processes
- Confident using cloud-based systems and internal tools

Additional Information:
- 20 hours per week (flexible scheduling available)
- Remote or Brisbane-based
- Opportunity to move into a full-time role as the company expands
- No BAS or bookkeeping responsibilities initially, but will be implemented down the track

Current Pay Rate: 10,000 PHP
