JOB OVERVIEW

Zen Tea Lounge Foundation is a not-for-profit organization based in Australia. We work to end domestic violence and empower women and children through trauma-informed programs, community outreach, and social enterprise activities.

We are excited to welcome a compassionate, proactive Event Planner who shares our passion for community impact. In this role, you will support the day-to-day planning and delivery of our outreach events, workshops, and volunteer-led programs—ensuring everything runs smoothly, professionally, and with heart.

The position offers $5AUD per hour plus PCI 2.2% every quarter review and cap on $10 if you are able to consistently meet the KPIs we’ve outlined. As with all new team members, we apply a standard trial rate of $4 AUD per hour for 10 hours for the first 2–4 weeks to ensure alignment, performance, and fit.

Requirements:
• High success rate with relevant experience in community or nonprofit event planning
• Strong people skills – confident liaising with diverse groups, managing volunteers, and building positive team relationships
• Strong coordination and communication abilities
• Culturally aware and values-aligned with our mission
