Bookkeeper

We are a virtual accounting firm looking for a dedicated, hard-working and self-motivated Bookkeeper to join our team. We offer a flexible work schedule as long as deadlines are met and you are appropriately available for client and tea ---------- etings in Eastern Standard Time.

About the Role:

As a Bookkeeper, you are the building force of the books. You will establish a solid foundation for clients’ books so that we may build on your work to provide clients the accounting information they need to make decisions, run and grow their business.

What Your Day to Day Will Look Like:

• Maintain clients’ accounting records on a day-to-day basis
• Reconcile accounts
• Manage receipts for clients
• Be the point of contact for clients
• Answer client questions via email, phone or our chat system
• Support clients with their use of accounting apps
• Use accounting apps

What You Need to Succeed:

• 2 years + experience working for an Accounting firm
• 2 years + experience bookkeeping with QBO
• Deliver spectacular customer service
• Exceptionally detail oriented
• Very organized and methodical in your processes
• Enjoy working with technology in your day-to-day job
• You are deadline driven
• You have a positive attitude
• Experience with TaxDome and Dext an asset
• Excellent English writing and speaking
