Content & Trend Research Assistant (TikTok, YouTube Shorts – Part-time with Full-time Potential)

We’re looking for a creative and structured assistant to support our content creation efforts. Your job will be to research viral content trends, especially on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels, and translate them into actionable ideas for our video editor. This is not just about trend-hunting – you’ll help plan, structure, and organize content strategies to grow our German-speaking brand.

Topic Focus:
You’ll focus mainly on hair loss, hair transplant, men’s grooming, and beauty/health content. Your job will be to explore international (mainly English-speaking) platforms and identify content ideas we can recreate, localize, or use for inspiration for our audience in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:
• Daily/weekly research of international TikTok and YouTube trends
• Structuring and documenting content ideas in Google Sheets or Notion
• Collaborating with our video editor to brief new video formats
• Analyzing what content works and why – and how we can adapt it
• Optional: Assist in building a content calendar and posting schedule

Requirements:
• Strong English skills (spoken and written)
• Deep knowledge of TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reels – what works and why
• Great sense of trends, virality, storytelling, and content psychology
• Experience with content research, social media, or short-form video
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proactive mindset and willingness to learn fast

Nice to Have:
• Basic experience with video content, editing, or scripting
• Knowledge of tools like Google Sheets, Notion, Trello
• Interest or knowledge in e-commerce, beauty, or health topics

Hours:
Starting part-time (20 hours/week), with the goal of going full-time if things go well.

Salary:
Starting at $5–$6/hour for part-time (~$400–$500/month). If we move to full-time, salary can go up to $1000–$1200/month depending on performance.
