# What is the role
A virtual assistant for an Australian investor and entrepreneur. The role is intended to be ongoing and part time. Primarily it will provided back office support for managing investments by producing reports. Other tasks include analysis of investments & bookkeeping and scheduling. There will also be some ad hoc business & personal assistance (data entry, making online enquiries, etc).
# What you’ll be doing
- Building Excel reports for EOM & EOQ/Y (key task) and preparing presentations from them.
- Researching fund investments. Looking for warning signals on the funds.
- Xero-based AP and record keeping for personal and business.
- Calendar of events and payments.
- Ad hoc help with business activities (data entry, research, software tool evaluation, etc)
- Personal assistance (online enquiries etc)
# Skills & tools required
- Excel (for report building and data wrangling)
- Xero (to build out and update AP)
- Basic Bookkeeping
- Basic understanding of financial concepts like asset classes, IRR, and ability to upskill.
- English (written and spoken)
