Senior Bookeeper & Accounting Manager (Full-Time, Pacific Time)

• We move thousands of pairs each month through three revenue streams:
• Wholesale to shoe stores & distributors
• Retail B2C on our national Shopify store
• Clinic & medical partnerships coast-to-coast

With rapid growth comes financial complexity. We need a seasoned professional who already owns e-commerce and wholesale books at 7- or 8-figure scale—someone who can step in on Day 1 and keep our numbers investor-ready.

Day 30 All opening balances validated; daily reconciliations live for Shopify, PayPal, Amazon & bank feeds
Day 60 First clean month-end pack delivered (P&L, BS, CF, variance notes) by 5th ---------- AM PT
Day 90 13-week cash-flow model in place; SKU-level landed-cost tracking live; channel-margin dashboard published

Core Responsibilities
• Full-Cycle Bookkeeping — QBO mastery; multicurrency & multi-channel reconciliations
• Inventory & COGS — freight, duty, landed cost, shrinkage, per-SKU profitability
• Tax & Compliance — GST/PST/HST returns; CRA correspondence; audit support
• Cash-Flow & FP&A — weekly cash position; payables calendar; scenario modelling
• Month-End Close — deliver investor-grade financial statements & management commentary
• Process Leadership — document SOPs; streamline workflows; integrate QBO ? Shopify ? Amazon ? banks

Must-Have Qualifications
• 10+ yrs senior accounting / controller experience in e-commerce & wholesale
• Expert with QuickBooks Online, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, PayPal Manager
• Proven command of Canadian accounting & sales-tax rules
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, PowerQuery or Apps Script a plus)
• Excellent spoken & written English; able to brief executives succinctly
• Exclusive, full-time commitment on Pacific Time

Nice-to-Have
• Philippine CPA or US/CA designation
• Experience rolling out BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker Studio)
• Background handling consignment, purchase-order financing, or clinic billing
