About the Company

Ikigai Cases is a family-owned e-commerce business selling premiu ---------- tal pill cases. Founded in December 2021, the business has been operated by two brothers from Washington, DC since then. After four years, the company has grown to selling thousands of pill cases every month and double-digit tea ---------- mbers, including a thriving remote team.

Our mission is simple: to make exceptional pill cases and provide exceptional customer service. We uphold this commitment by managing our fulfillment operations in-house and offering white-glove service to our customers.

We are looking to hire an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our growing remote team.


About You

>>You should be self-motivated and looking to work hard - as you will be expected to work hard, contribute and execute without supervision to help the whole team.

>>You take pride in your work and are proactive, anticipating the needs of the company and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management, Planning & Reporting

>>Maintain and continuously improve the master inventory-planning spreadsheet (demand, safety stock, inbound POs).

>>Use advanced Excel/Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH) to build and update: weekly inventory projections, month-end inventory-payment forecasts, production run landed-cost calculations

>>Analyse sales & supply-chain data to spot risks or savings and present actionable recommendations to leadership.

Vendor & Freight Relations

>>Own daily communications with Chinese suppliers—answer routine questions, track down paperwork & details, and escalate only when a decision is required.

>>Verify invoices, load bills, propose payment timing, and track wire receipts.

>>Oversee freight forwarders and inspection agencies; keep master delivery schedule current so the team always knows real ETAs.


Required Experience & Skills Experience:

>>Minimum of 2 years in supply chain, procurement, or logistics roles, preferably in an e-commerce business experiences:

>>Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and building custom formulas).

>>Proven ability to manage supply chain operations effectively and independently.

>>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.


Preferred Experiences

>> (preferred) E-commerce experience with Shopify

>> (preferred) Overseeing vendor relationships between Chinese vendors & US company

Communication & English Proficiency

>>Strong written and verbal English skills.

>>Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners over email


Compensation Details

>>Compensation: $1,850 per month + performance-based bonuses

>>Work Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday. During training period, the hours are 8AM to 6PM EST. Once training is complete, hours can be flexibly scheduled at employee’s discretion to overlap with suppliers.

>>Paid Holidays: 10 paid holidays per year

>>PTO: 1 week earned for every 6 months worked at the company
