Podcast & Marketing Manager

Join Power of Biz as a Marketing & Podcast Manager and take charge of producing, editing, and promoting our podcast to grow our audience and impact. If you’re experienced in audio/video editing, guest coordination, and podcast publishing, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities

*** Podcast Editing & Publishing ***

Handle light audio/video editing of podcast episodes, including trimming, adding intros/outros, and ensuring consistent audio quality/volume.

Upload and schedule podcast episodes on Libsyn, including writing and formatting episode descriptions and show notes.

Ensure all podcast episodes are released on time and according to our content calendar.

*** Guest Management ***

Track invited guests using a Google Sheet; manage scheduling, reminders, and status updates.

Send reminders to guests who haven’t scheduled yet (via email or social DMs).

Check that guests have completed pre-interview forms and follow up as needed.

Collect headshots and bios if they weren’t submitted, and organize them in a structured Google Drive folder.

*** Episode Preparation ***

Prepare short guest summaries or fact sheets to support pre-interviews and interviews.

*** Marketing & Promotion ***

Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy based on competitive research and audience insights.

Draft and schedule social media posts for platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, Pinterest, and others.

Create graphics, audiograms, and other promotional materials to support each episode.

Cut clips of recordings and edit for release as shorts on various social channels.

Create, edit, and manage engaging content for blogs and various online platforms.

Engage with our social media community by responding to comments and moderating discussions.

Update and maintain newsletters.

Perform basic SEO enhancements, including updating web content and services to improve visibility.

*** Analytics & Reporting ***

Compile podcast analytics (downloads, listens, etc.) from different sources and provide regular performance reports.

*** Administrative & Strategy Support ***

Look for speaking opportunities and manage outreach for podcast host appearances.

Establish and manage Facebook groups, including regular posts and community engagement.

Assist with marketing strategy and provide insights to help grow the podcast audience.


*** Required Skills & Experience ***

Strong experience in podcast editing (audio and/or video).

Strong video editing capabilities, particularly with the use of AI tools like Descript or OpusClip.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Solid understanding of social media platforms and content creation.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests and tea ---------- mbers.

Strong writing skills and grasp on English language.


*** Preferred Skills & Experience ***

Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms like Libsyn.

Experience developing social media strategies and managing channels.

Familiarity with podcast, social media, and website analytics.

Experience generating YouTube thumbnails.
