Custom Android Zebra Scanner App Developer

High Level End Goal (of first main project)

The goal of this app, is to provide a fast, and easy to use Android App running on a Zebra device, which will send a payload of data to an API including:

- Text values from user inputs (text fields, drop-downs, etc)
- Text values scanned from barcodes/QR codes (detected using Zebra DataWedge)
- Images taken by the camera in the Android App.

- Git used for source control, with clean commit messages
- Create and maintain developer documentation for the app (README.md)
- Create and maintain user-facing quickstart documentation for end-user (GUIDE.md)

Simplified User Workflow

- Scan the shipping label on a box.
- Send the tracking number to an API, and get back a list of products. (For example, there’s a power drill in the return.)
- Review each product in the list, taking pictures and notes as needed of each one.
- Review a summary of the entire return (box, products, etc) and submit to API.

(a more complete workflow and mock-ups will be made available for you to review before we select a candidate)

After this initial app is completed and working, there will be additional Android apps (also using Zebra DataWedge) to develop.
