Part-Time Bookkeeper (Remote, CST Hours) - Amazon E-commerce Business
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This remote role requires 20 hours per week, working within Central Standard Time (CST). The primary responsibilities include monthly financial reporting and closing of books using QuickBooks. Strong proficiency in Excel is essential. This role supports an Amazon e-commerce business, so experience with Amazon Seller Central, Walmart, and Shopify is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform monthly financial reporting and close the books using QuickBooks.
Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts.
Generate financial statements and other reports as needed.
Understand and analyze the Date Range Sales Report (DRSR) from Amazon.
Book journal entries directly from the DRSR (this is a must-have skill).
Handle 1099 reporting and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper with proficiency in QuickBooks.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis, and reporting).
Experience with inventory valuation and VAT payment.
Proficiency in using Amazon Seller Central, Walmart, and Shopify.
Mandatory experience in booking journal entries using Amazon’s DRSR.
Understanding of 1099 reporting for an Amazon e-commerce business.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
