Customs Broker/Classifier (New Zealand)

- Check all paperwork sent by the clients and request missing documents or follow up if any amendments are required as per New Zealand Customs and MPI requirements.
- Ensure all shipment details are entered in Cargowise correctly in a timely manner
- Classify shipped goods according to New Zealand Customs Tariff.
- Complete all Customs and MPI paperwork.
- Liaise with government agencies to ensure the smooth running of the Customs & MPI clearances.
- Develop and maintain excellent service to customers at all times, ensuring timely response exceeding their expectations and serve as an intermediary between customers and government agencies.
- Provide effective & prompt communications and follow-up on all pending matters with the customers.
- Provide regular Customs clearance updates to clients.
