Our growing e-commerce business is looking for an all-around social media assistant/social media manager to support our social media operations for a US-based health and wellness brand.
This person will be responsible for general operations and upkeep of 4 social media profiles.
Main duties include:
Post Scheduler
-Post images/videos and caption to various social media platforms
-Prefer to schedule natively (not via Hoot Suite or Later)
Content Licensing Outreach
-DM creators to request permission to repost content
-Facilitate contracts
Social Engagement Support
-Social management experience preferred
-Engage with comments and DMs in various social platforms
Other duties
-Weekly/Monthly data reporting
-Communicating with CEO on crafting responses (one of the profiles will be our CEO’s)
Requirements:
Highly-organized and independent
C2 level English proficiency. Must be able to interact fluently in US social media lingo
Ability to manage calendar and communicate with creative partners to ensure that posts are published on time
Proactively proposes new projects and/or responsibilities to fill out contractual hours
Answer DMs and comments in less than 24 hrs.
Experience with creative management software (Asana preferred)
Preferred:
At least 2 years of experience managing social media profiles
Copywriting/caption writing experience (proven experience and samples will get fast tracked for review)
More about the role:
You will NOT be required to create social media posts, but ability to write captions is a plus.
You can work on your own time. However, time zone coverage may be requested for special meetings or during critical periods like Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
We do not require a time tracker or monitoring systems. It’s important for us to have a partner that we can trust to work independently.
Interview and writing samples will be required to understand if we’re a good fit. Interviews will be conducted in US Central time zone hours (between 10 AM-5 PM)

Pay/Hours:
Starting $10/hr, 20 hr/wk contract. Negotiable depending on experience
Role starts in July 2025 as part-time (20 hrs./wk)
As accounts begin to gain traction and post volume increases, we are open to moving the contract to 40 hrs/wk. (we are expecting this transition to happen between September-December 2025).
