Remote Draftsman – Water Tank Projects (GA Drawings, DXF, 3D Renders, BOMs)

Raven Tanks is seeking a technically skilled draftsman with an engineering background to support our water storage tank projects. This remote role involves producing precise GA drawings, DXF files for fabrication, basic 3D renders for clients, and detailed material and packing lists.

You will collaborate with our sales and project teams to convert design concepts and specifications into professional drawing packages and documentation. This role requires a solid understanding of engineering principles and experience in drafting for steel or modular structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings for client and site use

Generate DXF files for CNC/laser cutting

Produce basic 3D renders using CAD or modeling software

Compile material take-offs and packing/transport lists

Revise and maintain drawings as projects evolve

Support coordination with suppliers and internal teams

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field)

Strong AutoCAD skills (or similar CAD software)

Experience producing DXF files for manufacturing

Familiarity with tank design, structural steel, or industrial projects preferred

Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail

Fluent in English and available during AEST business hours (or similar)
