RESPONSIBILITIES include but are NOT LIMITED to:
Appointment Management: Schedule and confirm appointments for initial consultations, follow-up visits, and treatment sessions. Conduct patient reminder calls and send text messages with appointment directions.
Patient Communication: Answer phones and greet patients in a professional and friendly manner, providing assistance, information on procedures, treatments, and directions to the clinic. Respond to
Data Management: Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and update patient information promptly. Upload incoming faxes and ensure proper organization within the appropriate Google Drive or filing system.
Insurance and Pharmacy Support: Assist with insurance eligibility checks and prior authorizations. Coordinate prescription refills by calling pharmacies or processing scripts if the EMR system is inaccessible.
Billing and Coding: Knowledge of medical billing and coding or willingness to learn is essential. Assist with processing and managing billing information and coding accurately.
Other administrative tasks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Medical Virtual Assistant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Knowledge of medical terminologies and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, emphasizing exceptional customer service to patients.
Able to work on a graveyard shift - Central Time.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Adaptability to learn and navigate new software applications efficiently.
Proficiency in using Google Workspace (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
Must have a primary and backup device
Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
Solid organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
