Overt Digital Marketing (ODM) is a results-driven digital marketing agency based in Australia, specialising in Google Ads and social media advertising for clients who want real outcomes: more leads, more calls, and more sales. We’re now looking for a confident and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to help us grow our client base.
This is a salary + commission role suited to someone who already knows how to generate leads, qualify potential clients, and drive interest in digital marketing services. If you're great at opening doors and selling business outcomes, this is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Prospecting and identifying businesses that need more leads, calls, or sales.
Promoting ODM’s core services – Google Ads and social media ad campaigns.
Booking qualified leads for our internal team to pitch and close.
Working remotely with video check-ins and performance updates.
What Success Looks Like
You’ll be paid a base salary + commission when a lead you bring signs an agreement to begin services & pays the first invoice.
Our minimum deal size is AUD $2,000/month, giving you a solid commission opportunity per closed lead.
You focus on quality, not volume. We don’t need tire-kickers – we need businesses ready to invest in real growth.
What You Need to Bring
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably selling services or outcomes to small to medium-sized businesses.
A strong understanding of business growth goals, such as lead generation, customer acquisition, and ROI.
The ability to work independently and remotely, managing your own time and outreach strategy.
Comfortable with video calls, reporting progress, and collaborating with the internal team.
A strong grasp of how to talk about marketing – you don’t need to be an expert in Google Ads, but you must be able to sell the value of bringing in more leads and sales.
